Sensitive Personal Information (SPI): The specific problem descriptions you provide in our web form regarding your physical or mental wellness (e.g., digestive discomfort, stress triggers, anxiety). Note: We collect this strictly to perform the service requested.
Voice Preferences: Your selection of a male or female voice for the audio.
Financial Data: Processed entirely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not view, collect, or store your credit card numbers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data exclusively for the following business purposes:
To create, process, and deliver your personalized AI audio session.
To process payments and handle refunds.
To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
To comply with legal and tax obligations.
We DO NOT use your Sensitive Personal Information (your wellness prompts) to train our own AI models, nor do we use it to profile you for advertising purposes.

Psycholux does not sell your personal information. We also do not "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. We only share data with service providers necessary to deliver the Service.

To protect our proprietary business architecture while maintaining full transparency with you, we share data with the following categories of providers:

Website Hosting & Cloud Infrastructure: We use secure cloud computing and hosting providers to run our website, process audio files, and temporarily store your MP3 files for delivery.
Secure Database Providers: We use encrypted cloud databases to securely store your email address, order history, and submitted prompts.
Workflow Automation Tools: We use automation platforms to route your order details securely between our database and audio-generation tools.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Partners: We utilize third-party generative AI APIs (Text-to-Text and Text-to-Speech models) strictly to analyze your problem description, write the personalized therapeutic script, and generate the realistic audio voiceover.
Important Disclaimer regarding AI: Because your prompts are processed by external AI algorithms to generate your audio, we strongly advise you not to enter any sensitive personally identifiable information (PII)—such as your full name, physical address, or national identification numbers—into the problem description box.
6. International Data Transfers
Psycholux operates with core operations in the European Union. However, our infrastructure relies on servers located in the United States (e.g., AWS, Stripe). If you reside in the UK or EU, your data is transferred to the US. We rely on legally recognized transfer mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and Data Privacy Framework (DPF) certified vendors to ensure your data remains protected.
7. Your Privacy Rights (California, US, UK, EU)
Depending on your residency, you have specific rights regarding your data:
Right to Know / Access: You may request details about the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
Right to Delete: You may request that we delete your personal information (email, prompts, history) from our databases.
Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate data.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive PI (California): You have the right to direct us to limit the use of your sensitive personal information to only what is necessary to perform the Services. (Note: Psycholux already strictly limits this use by default).
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you (e.g., deny services or charge different prices) for exercising any of your privacy rights.

8. Data Retention and Security
We retain your email and purchase history only for as long as necessary to provide customer support, honor our refund policy, and comply with tax laws. MP3 files temporarily stored in AWS S3 are purged periodically after successful delivery. We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) to protect data in transit and restrict access to our databases via secure API keys.
9. "Do Not Track" Signals (CalOPPA)
Some web browsers have a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. Because there is no widely accepted standard for recognizing DNT signals, our website currently does not respond to them. However, we do not use third-party behavioral tracking cookies on our site.
10. Children's Privacy
Psycholux is strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 18. If we discover we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.
